B-Attitudes started because I wanted to renew hope for another person.

My name is Audrey and I am the Founder and Owner of B-Attitudes. I decided to start this enterprise as a result of hearing and seeing the conditions in Kibera, Nairobi, Kenya. I talked online for many months with a gentleman who is a single father and worked long hours to make ends meet for him self and his daughter. One day he made a simple statement: "I sometimes wonder if God remembers we are here". That never left my thoughts and became my personal charge to do something. Together we brainstormed and came up with the idea of selling handcrafts from artisans in Kibera and that is exactly what we did. The level of craftsmanship is impeccable and it needs to be displayed to the world. As a result we now have our own sandal making shop which now employs eight people. We also work with other artisans and cooperatives in Kibera to give them global exposure. Be sure to check out the gallery where you can learn about the artists and see our fine artwork. If you have any questions feel free to contact us. We love feedback!
